Business Development Associate – Director level

The Business Development Associate is responsible for strategically expanding the business by identifying and closing new media brand partnerships. This role requires effective communication, the ability to dissect how changes in the market impact our business and the development of a thorough understanding of how Curacity’s marketing and attribution product drives real value for different hotels.

Desired Skills and Expertise

  • 5-10 years of experience.
  • Experience and connections in the digital publisher/media space.
  • Passion for travel and hospitality!
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with the team to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • The ideal candidate should be organized, driven and detail-oriented.
  • Must be excited about working in a creative and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Must be willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Work directly with Curacity’s President and Head of Marketing/Distribution.
  • Individual focus: sign media brands onto the Curacity network that have email list sizes 50,000 and greater.
  • Ability to successfully build a pipeline: prospect, conduct calls, execute follow ups, and seal the deal!
  • Clearly and effectively pitch the platform.
  • Address media brand’s questions and concerns in order to instill confidence and close the deal.
  • Collaborate with other teams within Curacity.
  • Share relevant production results with the goal of reinforcing the value of Curacity products in order to: 
    1. Expand existing relationships
    2. Bring on additional media properties within existing media brand partner groups
  • Collaborate with the head of media brands to ensure newly signed brands are successfully launched onto the platform.
