Sales Development Representative/Sales Operations

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an inside sales representative that focuses on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. SDRs connect the sales team with as many leads as possible. This role requires effective communication, the ability to dissect how the hospitality industry works. There is a strong preference to have a background in hospitality.

On the operations front, the SDR/OPS Manager should be analytical, forward thinking. They should be able to build documents that will help support the sales team in closing deals. They will be responsible for the continued evolution of building out Salesforce, reporting and being very detail oriented.

The SDR/OPS Manager will be measured on the overall success of the sales team.

Desired Skills and Expertise

  • Must be based in NYC, this job requires 3 days/week in Soho office
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Hospitality background is strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with the team to meet or exceed sales goals
  • The ideal candidate should be organized, driven and detail-oriented
  • Must be excited about working in a creative and entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and
  • Must be open to feedback and have an always learning mentality
    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, with a focus/concentration of hospitality strongly preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce a plus

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  •  Ability to understand the world of hospitality
  • Can demonstrate effect outreach
  • Can effectively create a prospect list
  • Can generate and get qualified leads to engage
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize time to work on several initiatives at once
  • Work towards clearly and effectively pitching the platform
  • Collaborate with other teams
